Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Supervisor of Homeless Outreach Program to lead efforts in connecting vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness with vital resources and support services. In this role, you will oversee outreach initiatives, manage a dedicated team of outreach specialists, and develop strategic programs aimed at fostering stability and well-being within the community. Your leadership will be instrumental in building strong relationships with community partners, behavioral health providers, and local agencies to create a comprehensive support network. Duties Lead and supervise a team of outreach workers, ensuring effective engagement with individuals experiencing homelessness Develop, implement, and evaluate outreach strategies and programs tailored to community needs Ensure clients are assessed for and connected to appropriate clinical services. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with social service agencies, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and community organizations Coordinate case management efforts to connect clients with housing, healthcare, mental health services, and employment resources Monitor program performance metrics and prepare detailed reports on outreach activities and outcomes Manage program budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and oversee administrative tasks including documentation and compliance Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support to staff to foster professional growth and team cohesion Skills Strong management skills with proven experience supervising teams in social service or community outreach settings Expertise in program development, implementation, and evaluation within social work or behavioral health fields Experience working directly with individuals facing developmental disabilities or complex mental health needs Excellent relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with diverse community partners and stakeholders Solid administrative experience including budgeting, record-keeping, and reporting requirements Knowledge of program management principles applied to homeless outreach initiatives Demonstrated ability to handle behavioral health issues sensitively while promoting positive client interactions Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments while maintaining focus on program goals This role is ideal for motivated leaders passionate about creating lasting change through energetic engagement and strategic program oversight.
