Four Corners/Clermont The Oaks at Southlake Commons 130 Town Center Blvd, Clermont, FL 34714 Brief Description Join our team as an Assistant Community Manager and play an important role in the successful day-to-day operation of our apartment community. We're looking for an organized, customer-focused professional who can support leasing, resident relations, rent collection, accounting, and community operations while providing exceptional service to current and prospective residents. This position offers an excellent opportunity to expand your property management experience and prepare for future advancement into a Community Manager role. The Assistant Community Manager will also serve as the person in charge when the Community Manager is unavailable. Some weekend and early evening shifts will be required. What You'll Do Support the Community Manager with daily community operations and help identify opportunities to maximize revenue and overall property performance. Assist prospective residents throughout the leasing process, including conducting tours, following up on leads, processing applications, and verifying applicant information. Support Leasing Consultants and help ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements and company leasing procedures. Assist with rent collection and follow up on delinquent accounts in a timely, professional, and consistent manner. Post rental payments, administer late fees and returned-payment charges, prepare bank deposits, and maintain accurate accounting records. Prepare delinquency reports, process invoices for approval, and assist with other financial and operational reporting. Maintain accurate resident lease files, community records, and property management system data. Coordinate service requests, apartment turns, and make-ready activities with the maintenance team. Conduct community and apartment inspections as needed. Complete monthly market surveys and recommend pricing adjustments based on market conditions. Assist with training and supporting the leasing team. Provide onsite leadership and oversee daily operations in the Community Manager's absence. Partner with the Community Manager and Regional Manager to review community performance and achieve operational goals. Ensure compliance with company policies, community procedures, and applicable housing regulations. What We're Looking For Previous experience in property management, leasing, customer service, collections, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of leasing, rent collection, resident relations, and onsite accounting functions preferred. Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial and resident records. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Professional judgment and the ability to handle confidential or sensitive information appropriately. Ability to work independently and provide leadership when the Community Manager is unavailable. $47,525.84 - $57,235.42 per year
