Position and will require weekend availability. Must be able to work at least Monday 9am-5:30pm, Fridays 9am-5:30pm and Saturdays 9am-1pm. Job Responsibilities:
Conduct daily property walkthroughs at the start of each shift Trash removal (units, drives, office, hallways, perimeter) Sweeping units, hallways, and drive aisles Cleaning doors, hasps, units Cobweb removal (hallways, doors, lighting fixtures) Monitoring for damage, vandalism, or maintenance needs Ensure vacant units are clean, broom-swept, and rent-ready Maintain office, bathroom, and common areas to company standards Assist with minor maintenance (light bulbs, locks, signage, etc.) Report larger maintenance issues to Property Manager promptly Clean, rent and return Uhaul Trucks Greet and assist customers in-person and via phone Provide unit recommendations and pricing options Support rental process (leases, payments, move-ins/move-outs) Merchandise sales Maintain a professional, helpful, and positive attitude Follow-ups with customers by phone and email to secure new leads Processing payments and updating tenant accounts Move-ins, transfers, and move-outs Past due calls and reminders Maintain accurate records and documentation Assist and coordinate with onsite Property Manager Assist with coverage of the location as needed Engage in marketing efforts such as asking all customers for Google Reviews or participate in local marketing efforts This is not an exhaustive list but provides a glimpse into the duties of a Part-Time Assistant Manager. This Position You'll Need:
Preferred 1+ years of customer service experience A positive and outgoing personality Being tech savvy is a plus Strong and professional phone contact handling skills and active listening Experience in Cash Handling Must be available on weekends Strong accountability combined with strong work ethic and enthusiasm for teamwork Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different situations Excellent communication and presentation skills Must have a Valid Driver's License and reliable form of transportation Ability to lift up to 50lbs High School Degree This is a
