We are hiring an Assistant Community Manager to join our team.
Summary of Position:
The Assistant Property Manager will be part of a collaborative team and responsible for maintaining the financial and operational aspects of the apartment community while providing the best customer service to our residents.
Details and Responsibilities:
Accurately record prospective and active resident information within the system. Oversee leasing activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, lease renewals and resident retention. Interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy; generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation and completing move-in paperwork and procedures. Review and maintain resident files and records to ensure all lease terms are accurate. Completing all daily operational tasks including but not limited to collecting and posting rent, preparing bank deposits, bank reconciliation and processing invoices. Processing and upholding all move in and move out procedures. Issues non-payment notices to residents with delinquent accounts and conducts follow-up actions related to rent collection and eviction processes. Collaborates closely with the Community Manager to gain comprehensive knowledge of property management, including administrative and financial responsibilities.
Qualifications:
1-2 years minimum experience in residential property management Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency in One Site, Yardi or similar software's A team player who represents and upholds our company's values We are an equal opportunity employer.
