A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Exciting managment opportunity to begin immediately. The Crossings at Riverwalk community offers residents luxury apartment living in Freeport, FL. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Could include shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve. Demonstrated organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to clearly communicate. Demonstrated ability to complete and explain legal documents. Ability to complete and explain residency applications. Proficiency in MS Office. Experience using Property Ware, or equivalent software, preferred. Experience in marketing and advertising using various internet platforms. Experience accepting multiple payment options. CAM license preferred, but not required. Responsibilities This position requires a customer-focused problem solver who strives to help others. Meet with prospective residents to communicate the value and overall experience of living at The Crossings at Riverwalk. Work with current residents to solve issues quickly and effectively. Tracking issues and following up with current and prospective residents. Manage the application process. Provide consistent, courteous service throughout each resident's lease-cycle. Respond quickly and courteously to resident concerns and questions then take prompt action to solve problems and/or document and escalate resident or other requests as needed. Manage lease expirations and secure renewals. Assist with community marketing activities and resident events. Complete various accounting, financial, administrative reports. Assure adherence to all government regulations including Fair Housing, ADA, and OSHA. Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers. Salary based on experience.
