Job Description

Residential Supervisor - Interface Youth Program NW (Lake City) CDS Family & Behavioral Health Services, Inc., a non-profit social services agency serving North Central Florida for 55 years, is seeking a Residential Supervisor for our Interface Youth Shelter, a short-term residential facility in Lake City, FL. This full-time position is responsible for managing the daily operations of a residential shelter working in conjunction with the Regional Director.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or above in counseling, social work, psychology, or other behavioral science or Bachelor's Degree and one year of related work experience in lieu of education requirement. Prior supervisory experience in a residential setting, specifically working with adolescents and children, is preferred. Strong understanding of child and adolescent behavior and development is highly desirable. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Support the Regional Director with day-to-day shelter operations and quality assurance initiatives Ensure staff adherence to job descriptions, training protocols, and contractual obligations. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to staff, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment Oversee participant activities, including making referrals, setting up appointments, conducting individual needs assessments, and arranging or coordinating transportation and social services. Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal teams and external community organizations to strengthen program resources
