A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead daily operations of the community and onsite team Hire, train, coach, and evaluate property staff Oversee leasing performance, occupancy, rents, collections, and renewals Manage budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and expense control Handle escalated resident concerns, lease enforcement, and compliance issues Conduct inspections and oversee maintenance/service performance Oversee renovations and capital improvement projects Manage vendor relationships and invoice approvals Maintain reputation management and resident retention efforts Serve as liaison with ownership, investors, and regional leadership Effectively manage deadlines and priorities in a fast past environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 4-6
years of relevant property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience Strong leadership, financial, and conflict resolution skills Experience with property management systems and reporting Knowledge of Fair Housing and applicable regulationsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or related field Experience with Yardi, Entrata, OneSite, or similar platforms Required state/local licenses as applicableCOMMUNICATION SKILLS

Advanced proficiency with property management and financial reporting systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and reporting functions Ability to analyze budgets, occupancy reports, collections, and operational metrics Experience managing digital leasing, resident communication, and maintenance systems Ability to oversee invoice processing, reporting accuracy, and compliance documentation Familiarity with reputation management and online resident engagement platforms Ability to leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracyPHYSICAL/WORK REQUIREMENTS
