Job Description
Assistant Property Manager If you are a highly motivated, seasoned Assistant Property Manager seeking to advance your career within a growing organization, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, this opportunity may be the right fit for you. Located in Lehigh Acres, FL, it's an affordable property. The ideal candidate will have LIHTC (Tax Credit) experience , a strong understanding of compliance requirements, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism. Experience with Yardi property management software is preferred. This position is immediately available . Key Responsibilities Assist the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the property. Ensure compliance with all LIHTC regulations and community policies. Process rental applications, lease renewals, and resident certifications. Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate and organized records of leases, resident information, and property maintenance. Conduct regular inspections of units and property grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness. Assist with rent collection, budgeting, and financial reporting. Coordinate and participate in community events and initiatives to promote resident engagement and satisfaction. Supervise and support property staff as needed. Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with minimal supervision. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining accuracy under stress. Foster strong teamwork, resident relations, and a positive community environment. Collaborate effectively with senior management to achieve property and company goals. Meet all assigned deadlines and deliver results consistently. Assist on-site management with additional duties as assigned. Implement company policies and procedures effectively and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications LIHTC experience is required and essential for success in this role. Prior experience in affordable housing and compliance. Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software preferred. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Reliable transportation required. Additional Requirements Must be able to pass a criminal background check . Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
