About the Role Meridian's growing Community Action Team (CAT) is seeking a passionate and dedicated CAT Mentor to provide hands-on support, guidance, and advocacy to youth enrolled in CAT services. In this role, you'll make a direct impact by mentoring youth, modeling positive behaviors, and helping them build the skills needed to succeed at home, in school, and within their communities. You'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support individualized treatment goals using a wraparound approach.
Service Area:
Primarily the Tri-County region

What You Will Do:
  • Provide mentoring, life skills coaching, and community-based support for youth ages 11-21
  • Reinforce treatment goals established by clinicians and the care team
  • Help youth develop coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and healthy relationships
  • Support families by modeling effective communication and positive engagement
  • Safely transport youth to appointments, activities, and community services
  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with team members to ensure coordinated care What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience working with youth in behavioral health, social services, mentoring, or related fields
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with diverse populations
  • Valid Florida driver's license and willingness to travel across multiple counties
