Job Description
Experience in property management is required or working towards LCAM license. The assistant is responsible for supporting the Community Association Manager in the overall operations of a self-managed gated golf course community located in Ormond Beach. Our residents structure includes both HOA and Condo residents. Responsibilities The assistant reports directly to the Licensed Community Association Manager to support in the management of the associations. Job duties include, but are not limited to the following functions:
- Direct contact/communication with homeowners, board members, and real estate professionals.
- Conduct delinquency control and assist in the collection process, prepare letters and phone calls.
- Prepare meeting materials, notices, memos, other correspondence & mailings, meeting packets, and community newsletters and updates. In addition, compile data and assist in meeting preparation.
- Monitor association communities and assist with covenant enforcement(CC&R's).
- Update and maintain community information on the community website.
- Maintain homeowner database per resident info sheets and written updates.
- Assist the Accounting Manager with various bookkeeping functions for each association.
- Assist with any other assignments delegated by the Community Manager. Skills
- Able to work independently and be well organized . Knowledge of property management or real estate is required
- Must always exhibit a professional demeanor
- Be courteous and professional in all communications
- Ability to work under deadlines and consistently meet deadlines
- Have effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrate problem solving abilities
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and computers
- Strong customer service skills a must
- Knowledge of TOPS or other accounting software a plus
- Great attention to detail and follow-through is a must This is an hourly position with the base rate depending on experience.
