Job Description

Job Summary The YANA Wellness Drop-In Manager is a dynamic and compassionate leader responsible for overseeing daily operations at our wellness drop-in center. This role involves creating a welcoming environment for visitors, managing staff schedules, coordinating wellness programs, and ensuring smooth administrative processes. The Drop-In Manager plays a vital role in fostering community engagement, promoting health and wellness initiatives, and maintaining an organized, efficient space that supports the well-being of all participants. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead with energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to positive impact. Duties Supervise daily center operations, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for visitors Coordinate and facilitate wellness activities, workshops, and community events to promote health initiatives Manage staff schedules, delegate responsibilities, and oversee team performance to ensure excellent customer service Maintain accurate records of attendance, program participation, and administrative documentation Handle participant inquiries with professionalism via phone or in person, providing clear information about services offered Oversee inventory management of wellness supplies and educational materials to ensure availability and proper stock levels Support marketing efforts by promoting programs through social media, flyers, and community outreach efforts Skills Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams within a community or retail setting Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued Proven ability in customer service with a friendly, approachable demeanor Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and building positive relationships with diverse populations Experience in administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, inventory control, and POS (point-of-sale) systems Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Background in training & development to support staff growth and program improvement Familiarity with budgeting, management practices, and marketing Proficiency in time management and multitasking to ensure smooth daily operations Join us as the YANA Wellness Drop-In Manager to lead impactful community programs while developing your management expertise!
