Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities of residents, visitors, contractors, and service personnel. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies by following established emergency response procedures. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security incidents, suspicious activities, or safety hazards encountered during shifts. Perform background checks on visitors or service providers when necessary to uphold community safety standards. Assist with emergency situations by administering first aid or CPR when required, operating AED devices, and managing conflict de-escalation effectively. Support law enforcement or emergency responders during investigations or incidents on-site. Conduct routine inspections of the property's perimeter and common areas to ensure compliance with security regulations and safety protocols. Engage with residents courteously to provide excellent customer service while maintaining professional boundaries. Requirements Proven experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement or related fields demonstrating strong physical security skills. Knowledge of surveillance equipment, access control systems, incident report writing, and emergency response procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for patrols or incident management. Certification in first aid and CPR; AED operation experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with firearm handling, Taser use, and conflict management techniques for enhanced safety measures. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and conflict de-escalation strategies. Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security assessments as needed.
