Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Overview We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead the management of multifamily residential communities with enthusiasm and expertise. This pivotal role requires a dynamic professional who can oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional resident satisfaction, and maintain property standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in property management, possess strong leadership skills, and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of multifamily housing regulations and administrative processes. Duties Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations to ensure smooth community functioning. Manage lease or rental agreement processes, including renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite to maintain accurate records of tenant accounts, rent collections, and financial transactions. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and coordinate repairs using facilities management protocols. Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and contracts to ensure compliance. Lead and motivate team members through effective team management practices; foster a collaborative environment focused on customer service excellence. Communicate proactively with clients and residents via phone, email, or in-person meetings; resolve conflicts efficiently through conflict management strategies. Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and implement upselling strategies to maximize property revenue while maintaining quality standards. Maintain comprehensive filing systems for legal documents, lease agreements, maintenance records, and data entry logs using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software. Skills Extensive experience with property management software including Yardi, OneSite, and CRM tools for client communication and record keeping. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, LIHTC compliance, and contracts management. Proven ability to manage multiple properties efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service. Excellent conflict management skills paired with negotiation expertise to resolve issues amicably and effectively. Skilled in budgeting, financial analysis, and upselling techniques to enhance property profitability. Demonstrated team management capabilities with experience leading diverse teams in property management environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, data entry, filing, and administrative tasks; familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus. Outstanding communication skills with professional phone etiquette; adept at client relationship management and fostering positive resident interactions. Knowledge of facilities management practices related to property maintenance and safety standards; ability to coordinate repairs promptly.
