AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unwanted activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and/or community access points, observing for unusual conditions and communicating with residents, visitors, and/or management as needed. Support property rules and access procedures by documenting activity, assisting with visitor-related questions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience. Be 21+ years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. A guard card is required. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
