Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Description

The Jade Apartments is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Property Manager to join our on-site team. This is a full-time, salaried position, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend availability. What You'll Do As Property Manager, you'll play a key role in the daily operations of the community, including: Serving as the primary point of contact for residents and resolving concerns professionally and efficiently Conducting tours and following up with prospective residents to help convert interest into signed leases Conducting regular site and unit inspections to ensure community standards are met Coordinating unit turns between move-out and move-in Utilizing property management software to support leasing and daily operations Assisting with general office and administrative responsibilities Supporting resident renewals and satisfaction through consistent follow-up Taking ownership of community events from planning through execution, building genuine pride in the community you're creating Cultivating a lively, connected community through resident events, shared traditions, and everyday touchpoints Managing periodic resident email newsletters to keep the community informed and engaged Supporting social media content and posting for the community as needed Working directly with both our corporate property management office and property ownership on day-to-day operations and decisions What We're Looking For Prior property management experience required Proficiency using property management software (PMS); experience with AppFolio a strong plus Forward-thinking and adaptable, comfortable picking up new tools, systems, and ways of working Genuine enthusiasm for building community and planning events residents look forward to Strong customer service skills with a professional, solutions-focused mindset High School Diploma or equivalent required Marketing or social media background not required, but a big bonus if you have it Compensation $55,000-$60,000 total compensation package, based on experience Why Join The Jade The Jade offers a supportive team environment, a beautiful community setting, and the opportunity to grow within a professional property management organization that values accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
