Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Property Manager specializing in Student Housing! This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily property operations, enhance resident satisfaction, and support the management team in maintaining high standards of service and compliance. You will be the vital link between residents, the office, and maintenance ensuring a vibrant, well-maintained living environment that promotes community and growth. Responsibilities Assist in managing leasing processes, including property tours, application processing, and lease signing to maximize occupancy and revenue. Handle tenant inquiries promptly via phone and in person, providing exceptional customer service while addressing concerns or requests. Support rent collection efforts through data entry, payment processing, and follow-up on overdue accounts. Coordinate property maintenance requests by liaising with vendors and facilities management teams to ensure timely resolution. Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, tenant files, legal documentation, and Fair Housing laws. Assist with marketing initiatives including upselling available units and promoting community amenities to prospective residents. Ensure adherence to all legal administrative procedures related to landlord-tenant law, Support the property management team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry into Entrada property management systems, and maintaining organized office records. Participate in conflict management efforts by mediating resident disputes professionally while upholding community standards. Contribute to property upkeep by supporting routine facilities management activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law. and student housing leasing and life Proficiency with Entrada property management software for leasing and data entry tasks. Experience in legal administrative procedures related to real estate transactions and contracts. Marketing and community outreach Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities. Demonstrated ability in property leasing sales techniques including upselling community features to prospective tenants. Familiarity with property maintenance coordination using facilities management systems like CMMS. Effective negotiation skills for lease agreements and contract discussions. Office experience with filing systems, data management, and administrative support functions. Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
