Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

This role is vital in ensuring properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and regulatory compliance is upheld. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a key leader within our property management team, you will drive operational excellence, foster positive tenant relationships, and manage budgets effectively to maximize property value. Duties Oversee daily property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations to ensure smooth and efficient management. Manage lease or rental agreement processes, including drafting, renewal, and enforcement of lease terms in compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Utilize property management tools such as Propertyware to track financials, tenant information, and maintenance requests accurately. Coordinate property maintenance activities and facilities management to uphold safety standards and property appearance. Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law Conduct conflict management with tenants or vendors professionally while negotiating lease terms or resolving disputes effectively. Maintain detailed records through data entry, filing, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to support audits and reporting requirements. Communicate regularly with clients and tenants via phone or email to address inquiries, upsell services, or resolve issues promptly. Monitor budgets closely to optimize expenses while maintaining high-quality property standards. Lead by providing guidance on property management best practices and fostering a collaborative work environment. Requirements Proven experience in property management with a strong background in real estate administrative functions. Familiarity with property management software Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict resolution tactfully and professionally. Office experience including data entry, filing systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and CRM platforms. Excellent negotiation skills for lease agreements and vendor contracts. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in facilities management or property maintenance is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette for client interactions. Leadership experience managing teams within a property management company is preferred.
