Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Property Manager who is on-call to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of short-term rental (vacation rentals) properties. This role requires a proactive leader with strong management skills, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for ensuring facilities operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. As a Property Manager, you will coordinate maintenance teams, manage vendor relationships, enforce safety regulations, and ensure that all property systems—including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems—are maintained to the highest standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment for our guests while optimizing operational performance. Duties
  • On-call to respond to property when needed for emergencies and guests needs
  • Property Inspections Once a Month
  • Complete incident reports for any damage, theft, or incidents you are called to respond to.
  • Complete monthly inventory at properties
  • Be a local representative of Blue Star Property Management
  • Coordinate with Director of Operations and Director of Vendor Services when maintenance is scheduled to be done at properties.
  • Report directly to Director of Operations Qualifications Proven management experience supervising property cleaning staff.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and schematics interpretation. Experience managing properties using CMMS platforms for work order tracking and maintenance planning. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to safety regulations. Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work (including high voltage), mechanical systems repair, and industrial maintenance best practices. Fluency in English with strong communication skills for supervising teams and collaborating with vendors or contractors. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
