Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Principal Objective of Position:
The Lease Administration Manager is responsible for supporting the Property Management and Accounting Teams with the tasks associated with the assigned property management portfolio. This position is accountable for the accuracy and completeness of lease data at every stage. From initial abstraction through activation, escalation, amendment, and termination — ensuring that what is documented in the lease is faithfully reflected in the systems that drive billing, reconciliation, and reporting that our Teams rely on. Operating at the critical intersection of property management and accounting, this role requires a professional who can translate complex legal language into actionable financial data, ensure precise lease abstraction, and leverage industry-standard commercial accounting software to drive operational compliance and revenue accuracy.
Essential Functions:

Analyze, interpret, and translate complex legal language from commercial lease agreements. Accurately abstract lease data into a database(s) (rent escalations, renewal options, operating expense clauses, and tenant responsibilities). Setup Units and Square Footage for new buildings. Review and enter new Leases/Tenants, including recurring charges. Setup Late Fees for all Leases/Tenants. Enter any Lease Amendments and Modifications. Update Indexation tables for CPI Increases. Administrator for Deal Manager - moving finalized/approved leases in Deal Manager to Yardi Voyager. Setup CAM Reconciliations once lease is reviewed. Work closely with the Accounting Team to support annual CAM reconciliations, audit requests, and revenue tracking. Work with PMs on any changes needed to Units, Leases/Tenants, Recurring Charges, CAM Reconciliations. Work with Accounting if any changes are needed to previously posted charges. Enter Lease Terminations for any tenants that move-out and change to Past Tenant.

Education and Experience Required:
Minimum 5+ years of dedicated commercial lease administration or property management experience Deep understanding of commercial real estate legal terminology, contract structures, and lease nuances Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Exceptional oral and written communication Advanced level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Demonstrated proficiency in commercial accounting/property management software
Preferred Qualifications:
Holding or actively pursuing professional designations such as LEAPS (Lease Administration Professional), CPM (Certified Property Manager) through IREM, or RPA (Real Property Administrator) through BOMA Direct, hands-on experience with advanced modules or specific enterprise systems such as
Yardi Work Environment:
This position will primarily be performed in a corporate office with little to no exposure to the elements. The position requires regular and prolonged use of office equipment including a computer and keyboard. The ability to sit or stand for extended periods will be necessary. Occasional walking, standing, and lifting to 25 pounds is required.
