Job Description

Job Summary PAYMENT/BENEFITS- This is a NON paid, FREE LIVE IN position. Your compensation is a fully furnished room, free utilities. We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Head of Household for our Sober Living program, dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and structured environment for individuals in recovery. This leadership role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring residents' well-being, and promoting behavioral health and addiction recovery through effective management and compassionate guidance. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and possess a strong background in social work, crisis intervention, and behavioral health to empower residents on their journey to sustained sobriety. Duties Provide supervision and support to residents, promoting a positive living environment that encourages sobriety and personal growth Oversee intake processes, including assessments and case management planning to tailor support for each resident Manage crisis situations with effective intervention strategies, ensuring safety and stability for all residents Coordinate with healthcare providers for medication administration, behavioral health services, and addiction counseling as needed Maintain detailed records through data entry, filing, and data collection related to resident progress and program compliance Enforce security protocols to ensure the safety of residents, staff, and property within the sober living environment Facilitate conflict management among residents through communication skills training and behavioral management techniques Conduct regular inspections for safety hazards, perform first aid when necessary, and ensure adherence to LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations Qualifications Proven supervising experience in residential or community care settings with a focus on behavioral health or addiction recovery Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to de-escalate conflicts effectively Experience in childcare or home & community care environments is highly desirable Knowledge of security procedures, medication administration, and first aid certification is preferred Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, healthcare providers, and team members Familiarity with LIHTC compliance standards and data management practices such as data entry and filing Background in social work or behavioral health fields with relevant certifications preferred Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude For more information, Reach out to Leticia to schedule your interview-469-750-4238
