Property Manager - Village West Apartments

HI Management, a seasoned and reputable property management company, is seeking a qualified Property Manager to lead the operations of Village West , a property located in Michigan City, IN. About the Role The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the community's daily operations to ensure it remains a well-managed, compliant, and welcoming place for residents to call home. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of a multifamily apartment community Supervise leasing, maintenance, and administrative staff Oversee rent collections, accounts payable, budgets, and expense control Ensure units are market-ready, maintain curb appeal, and oversee work orders Execute marketing, outreach, and resident retention programs Process move-ins, recertifications, and resident files using Yardi Qualifications 3-5 years of multifamily property management experience Prior Community Manager or Property Manager experience preferred Strong knowledge of leasing, collections, budgets, and compliance Experience with Yardi property management software Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills Requirements On-call availability Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Full-time position with weekend availability as needed
