Job Description

About the job Lasso Communities aims to set the standard for operating best-in-class communities and providing quality housing at affordable prices. Above all, we create communities that our residents are happy to call home. Lasso provides professionally managed communities that are safe, clean and family friendly. We are seeking an Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant communities. As the front-line representative of Lasso Communities, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, occupancy, home sales, and community appearance. Your dedication and professionalism will be essential in fostering positive relationships with customers, investors, employees, and vendors.
Responsibilities:
Professional Behavior and Communication Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with tenants, staff, and vendors.
Rent Collection:
Ensure timely collection of all rents, achieving 100% collection by the 15th of each month. Enter all collection notes into the system and manage accounts diligently. Implement a color-coding system for account status after the 5th of each month. Community Maintenance Regularly inspect the community for safety issues and promptly address them. Enhance curb appeal by addressing unsightly lots and violations. Keep common areas clean and free of debris. Ensure all signage is intact and undamaged. Maintain a clean and clutter-free office environment. Obtain bids from local vendors for improvement projects.
Inventory Management and Marketing:
Develop and execute inventory, marketing, and advertising plans. Effectively communicate emergency situations to the Regional Manager in a timely manner. Strive to maximize community occupancy on a monthly basis. Protect and maintain company assets while controlling expenses.
Leadership and Safety:
Lead by example, providing hands-on leadership within the community. Foster a safe working environment for staff and residents. Professionally address and resolve resident complaints or conflicts. Delegate day-to-day duties to onsite staff and conduct 1:1 monthly meetings with them.
Rehabilitation and Move-In Processes:
Ensure timely rehabilitation of inventory or setup of new homes. Aim for move-ins within 60 days for new homes and 10 days for used inventory.
Community Engagement:
Organize community resident functions to foster a sense of belonging. Establish strong working relationships with local municipalities.
Administrative Tasks:
Utilize Rent Manager software for various tasks, such as move-ins, move-outs, collection notes, and asset management. Additional Responsibilities Duties are subject to change, as deemed appropriate by Management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Proven experience in property management or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Compensation and Benefits Base salary commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision plans as well as paid vacations, holidays and sick time. As an added incentive, there is also a cash bonus included as part of the compensation package.
