We're seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Community Manager to join our team at Black Lark Apartments . This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their leadership experience while making a meaningful impact at a community currently undergoing stabilization and operational improvements. This role is ideal for an Assistant Property Manager who is ready for greater ownership and responsibility while working alongside an experienced leadership team.
What You'll Do:
As the Community Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting daily operations while helping improve the overall resident experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assist in stabilizing community operations and improving overall property performance. Build positive relationships with residents while delivering exceptional customer service. Manage resident concerns with professionalism, empathy, and consistency. Support leasing efforts and help maintain occupancy goals. Coordinate renewals, move-ins, and move-outs. Help reduce operational backlogs, including outstanding work orders and lease documentation. Maintain accurate resident files and property records. Work closely with maintenance and leadership to ensure resident needs are addressed promptly. Utilize Yardi and other property management software to manage daily operations. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines and company policies. Communicate proactively with leadership regarding property needs, challenges, and solutions.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is currently an Assistant Property Manager for atleast 1 year Is looking to grow into a Property Manager position. Works independently and takes ownership of their responsibilities. Is highly organized and detail-oriented. Can confidently enforce policies while maintaining positive resident relationships. Communicates proactively and keeps leadership informed. Thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment. Is dependable with reliable transportation. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience preferred. The ability to fluently speak in Spanish and English Is currently an Assistant Property Manager for atleast 1 year Minimum of 2 years of experience in Property Management, Leasing, or Office Management. Strong customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Ability to quickly learn new software systems. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Yardi Voyager. Knowledge of Fair Housing, HUD, and/or Section 8 programs. What Success Looks Like Within your first 90 days, you'll begin to: Bring organization to operational processes. Help reduce outstanding work orders and administrative backlog. Support occupancy and leasing goals. Improve resident satisfaction through excellent customer service. Build strong working relationships with residents and the onsite team. Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and leadership.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
