With a focus on empowering individuals to achieve greater independence and inclusion in the community, Ohio Valley Goodwill has been serving the Greater Cincinnati area for over 100 years.
POSITION SUMMARY
(WHAT, HOW, WHY) The Supported Employment Supervisor provides direct leadership and supervision to service staff involved in job development, placement, and job coaching. This role coordinates service provision across the entire employment continuum—from intake and placement to long-term coaching and retention. Responsibilities include coordinating service provision with the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) , ensuring compliance with CARF and Medicaid/Waiver standards, and cultivating professional relationships with Northern Kentucky business leaders. The Supervisor ensures fiscal health through accurate billing and unit tracking while providing on-call support to field staff to ensure the health and safety of all participants
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree; with 1 year outside sales experience (not retail), and 1 year of supervisory experience or a BA and 2 years sales/placement experience, 1 year of which as a successful Employment Specialist for Goodwill. Experience assisting individuals with disabilities highly desired. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; familiarity with local job market, the business community, and private industry standards. Must be have or be able to obtain Employment First certificate. Must pass criminal state and federal background checks and various registry checks. Must pass BMV; have no more than 4 points and possess state minimum required auto insurance to transport consumers. Must possess CPR/First Aid Certification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

PERCENT OF TIME ON TASKS
) Provides direct supervision to assigned staff in Employment & Coaching. Make regular presentations (one-on-one and group) to business leadership at various locations. Maintain ongoing communications with designated team members regarding clients and services to ensure satisfaction and expected outcomes. Present at least monthly progress to Manager regarding expected outcomes (service and business) Ensure staff are developing and maintaining case folders in accordance with CARF, OVR and Medicaid/Waiver standards.
PERIODICAL DUTIES
Conducts PR activities with referral sources. Chairs and coordinates business advisory committee meetings with Director. Performs direct Community Support services with participants when required.
OCCASIONAL DUTIES
Attends conferences, workshops, meetings, as required to maintain visibility in the field and community. Engages in marketing and public relations activities to encourage optimal utilization of employment services. Acts in the role of Manager in the absence of the Manager.
