Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic property management team and play a vital role in overseeing residential and commercial properties to ensure they operate smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to manage leasing activities, coordinate property maintenance, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will be instrumental in maintaining positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders while ensuring properties meet safety standards and legal requirements. Duties Manage property leasing processes, including tenant screening, lease negotiations, and contract administration. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with Fair Housing regulations. Handle tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts through effective conflict management strategies, and providing outstanding customer service. Ensure compliance with legal administrative procedures related to landlord-tenant law, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate data entry of property records, filing documents systematically, and managing contracts efficiently within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Conduct regular property inspections, oversee property upkeep, and coordinate repairs or upgrades as needed. Upsell additional services or amenities to tenants during interactions to enhance occupancy rates and revenue. Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in property leasing, facilities management, and tenant relations. Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and legal administrative procedures. Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; experience with CMMS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities. Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, contracts management, and general administrative tasks. Ability to negotiate effectively, manage contracts confidently, and handle multiple priorities efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping; familiarity with legal documentation is advantageous.
