Self-Storage Facility Manager Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Job Type:
Part-Time (approximately 16-20 hours per week)
Schedule:
Monday-Saturday availability required We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused individual to assist with managing the daily operations of our self-storage facility. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, motivated, and enjoys providing excellent customer service in a hands-on environment. Important Information This position does not offer benefits Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Schedule Requirements Approximately 16-20 hours per week Availability Monday through Saturday (morning and afternoon shifts) Must be able to work at least 2 Saturdays per month Key Responsibilities Facility Operations Oversee daily operations of the storage facility Conduct daily walkthroughs, including lock checks and unit inspections Clean units and maintain overall property appearance Prepare and complete accurate daily bank deposits Customer Service & Sales Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone Follow up on internet, email, and call center leads Show available units to walk-in customers Provide friendly, professional service and resolve customer concerns Administrative Duties Maintain accurate customer records (leases, addendums, correspondence) Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on time Use company systems for business purposes only Collections Make collection calls and send notices in accordance with company standards Maintenance & Repairs Perform light maintenance, including: Cleaning units and common areas Picking up trash and maintaining curb appeal Wiping down doors and surfaces Perform basic preventive maintenance (HVAC filters, gate chains, door springs) Submit work orders for larger repairs and coordinate with vendors/contractors Qualifications Basic computer skills Strong communication skills with a positive, professional attitude Ability to "smile through your voice" when speaking with customers Self-motivated and able to work independently Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors year-round Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Work Environment Combination of office work and outdoor activity Physical tasks including walking the property, light cleaning, and basic maintenance If you're reliable, organized, and enjoy helping customers, we'd love to hear from you.
