Duties Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations to ensure smooth daily functioning. Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to handle leasing agreements, rent payments, and resident data entry efficiently. Oversee lease or rental agreement management, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards like Landlord-Tenant Law and LIHTC guidelines. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to uphold safety standards and enhance resident comfort. Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in-person interactions; resolve conflicts promptly through effective conflict management strategies. Conduct regular inspections, manage property budgets, and oversee vendor contracts to optimize operational efficiency. Lead a team of leasing agents and administrative staff, fostering teamwork through effective team management practices. Maintain accurate filing systems, legal documentation, and data entry records while ensuring compliance with legal administrative requirements. Upsell amenities or additional services to residents to enhance their experience while supporting property revenue goals. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity using tools like Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and related legal frameworks. Demonstrated ability in conflict management, negotiation, and client communication to foster positive resident relationships. Experience managing lease agreements, contracts, budgets, and property maintenance operations within a property management company setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools for facilities management. Excellent organizational skills including data entry, filing systems, and office experience essential for administrative efficiency. Strong customer service orientation combined with phone etiquette skills to address resident needs effectively. Leadership qualities demonstrated through team management experience; ability to motivate staff and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
