Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Group Home Program Director to lead and oversee the operations of residential care facilities dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, memory impairments, and other complex care needs. In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care while managing staff, budgets, and compliance standards. Your leadership will foster a safe, nurturing environment that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being for residents. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable populations through effective management and innovative care strategies. Duties Lead the daily operations of multiple group homes or residential facilities, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents with diverse needs including Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and developmental disabilities. Supervise and mentor staff members, including direct care workers, nurses, and administrative personnel, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence in resident care. Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with healthcare standards. Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality care standards. Conduct regular assessments of resident well-being and facility safety; respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies. Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, social workers, and community agencies to support residents' holistic needs and facilitate smooth transitions between services. Requirements Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior care or individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong background in long-term care management, including supervision of staff and operations oversight. Knowledge of dementia care practices such as Alzheimer's and memory care strategies; experience developing and implementing care plans. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and healthcare regulations governing residential facilities. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Excellent organizational skills with experience managing budgets, staffing schedules, and resource planning. Working knowledge of social work principles, financial acumen related to facility management, and home & community care services. $44,691.66 - $53,822.21 per year
