A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Compensation:
$38 per hour/ pay is based on experience Minimum 5 years of property management experience required. We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Property Manager to support the owner of a busy real estate business. Experience with AppFolio property management software is a big plus Comfortable working on a Mac/macOS & PC platform This is a full-time position ideal for someone looking for a long-term role with stability and room to grow. This is primarily a property management role, supported by administrative and executive assistant responsibilities, ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys problem-solving, and likes keeping operations running smoothly. About the Role You will manage residential and commercial properties while also providing high-level administrative support to the owner. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, conflict solving and the confidence to communicate with tenants, vendors, utility companies, and town officials. Who You Are Detail-oriented and highly organized Resourceful Tech-savvy and a quick learner Comfortable using multiple platforms, including AppFolio, Zillow, Realtor.com, Notion, and other online tools Professional in written and verbal communication Confident interacting with tenants, vendors, utility companies, and town officials Dependable, with a genuine interest in a long-term role Fluent in English Key Responsibilities Property Management Answer tenant phone calls Assist with rent collection and late-rent follow-ups Manage lease renewals and send renewal reminders Handle tenant communications and resolve issues such as disputes, complaints, parking, noise, and snow removal logistics Coordinate maintenance requests between tenants and service providers Call utility companies for account setup, billing questions, and discrepancies Monitor city water and utility billing to ensure timely payments Maintain accurate records, files, and financial reports in AppFolio Administrative & Executive Support Manage the company's emails, calls, scheduling, and reminders Assist with construction project coordination and gathering vendor bids Handle sensitive documents, including leases, compliance forms, and reports Organize digital files while maintaining confidentiality Support special projects, including travel coordination, events, and vendor research Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups across multiple areas of responsibility Maintain organized virtual systems to keep workflows running smoothly Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of property management experience (required) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Comfortable working on a Mac/macOS & PC platform Experience with AppFolio or other property management software Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills Ability to troubleshoot minor software or tech issues Seeking a long-term role (2+ years minimum commitment) Preferred Qualifications Experience in real estate or construction industries Project management or vendor coordination experience To Apply Please submit your resume along with written answers to the following: What specifically made you interested in this position?
