Job Description

Delta Projects is recruiting for an open Residential Manager position Sharon, Massachusetts. Delta Projects supports adults with intellectual disabilities, traumatic and acquired brain injuries and other developmental challenges in residential, day and employment support programs. Our dedicated staff support individuals in 20 plus communities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. Delta Projects in Dedham, Massachusetts, is seeking a full-time Residential Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a group home supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in human services and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include developing Individual Support Plans, enhancing service quality, and supervising staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment which fosters growth and development while facilitating mutual aid and self-help skills among residents. Ensures the appropriate supports are tailored to the needs and desires of each resident. Fosters and supervises a team of direct care staff which includes training, managing staff schedules and coverage, performance evaluations, and other supervision requirements. Assists residents with obtaining all services and entitlements for which they qualify, to include, housing, inspections, insurance benefits. Maintains and audits business records including but not limited to petty cash, census, and payroll reports. Completes program documentation and assessments (e.g. ISP assessments, behavioral data reports, etc.) Maintains the residence's adherence to Medication Administration Program policies and procedures. Manages residential sites' collection and use of resources including program fees, representative payee accounts, and residents' funds. Monitor expenses and residence's budget. Submits information for billing procedures. Oversees Human Rights policies and procedures for residence. Ensures the maintenance, repair and safety of the residence. Maintains "good neighbor" relationships with residence's neighbors. Maintains strong working alliances with other service providers. Manages relief and overtime resources to maintain operational excellence. Provides thorough and thoughtful documentation of needs and services. Promotes healthcare, employment and education services access. Provides on-call coverage as assigned. Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Tuition Remission Requirements:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred At least two years of managerial experience in a residential human service group home Current and valid driver's license in the state of residence Must possess a safe, reliable, registered, insured, and inspected vehicle in order to transport individuals as needed/required Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office All candidates for this position must be a least 21 years of age and have held a valid US driver's license for at least one year and should be able to pass a CORI, driving record, employment reference check as well as a multi-state background check. Additionally, all candidates must be able to become SafetyCare and CPR and First Aid certified within two weeks of hire and must be MAP certified .
