Job Description

Our client in the Affordable Housing industry is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join their team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. In this contract role, you will oversee the daily operations of public housing rental properties, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional service to tenants. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of a reputable non-profit organization.
Responsibilities:
Conduct annual recertification which includes research/investigation of tenants to verify income, medical conditions, etc.

Review and monitor accounts receivableEnsure proper condition of unit and sites through inspections; input into software.

Organize, update and maintain client files according to HUD regulations and guidelines.

Ensure compliance with LIHTC/Tax Credit guidelinesEnforce LeasesAttend grievance hearings and court proceedings as needed.

Make resident referral to caseworkersReview and conduct follow up procedures on maintenance work orders.

Conduct move-ins, move-outs, transfers and interims.

Resolve reported conflictsInteract with other government and private agenciesEscort contractors and other workers on siteMaintain files and filing proceduresPrepare and edit monthly newsletter and other correspondence
