Job Description

Remote Status:
On-Site Now Hiring:
Residential Program Manager - IDD /
Human Services Required Location:
Washington County, MD Pay:
$47,500-$55,000/year
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, core hours 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation
Position Type:
Full-Time This Is Not a General Management Role This position requires direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and prior leadership experience in a human services setting. If your background is not in IDD or human services, this role will not be a match.
What You'll Do:
Oversee operations of 4-6 residential homes Supervise, coach, and support a team of 30-40 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) Promote a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture Ensure individuals receive quality, person-centered care in the home and community Communicate with families, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members Monitor documentation, compliance, and program performance
Requirements:
Required:
Associate's degree; Bachelor's in Human Services preferred
Required:
1+ year of direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
Required:
1+ year of supervisory or management experience in an IDD or human services setting
Preferred:
Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing staff 21+ years old Valid U.S. driver's license held for at least 2 years with a good driving record (not including permit time) Ability to lift/transfer up to 50 pounds Must pass a reading and math assessment and meet all pre-employment requirements, including a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
