The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and program development skills, with a passion for social impact and public health initiatives. This role involves managing outreach programs, supervising volunteers, and developing strategies to increase community engagement across diverse populations. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive community outreach strategies aligned with organizational goals. Manage volunteer programs, including recruitment, training, supervision, and retention of volunteers. Coordinate and oversee community events, workshops, and public speaking engagements to promote awareness and participation. Lead program development initiatives focused on addiction counseling, public health, or social work projects. Collaborate with local organizations, schools, and stakeholders to foster partnerships and expand outreach efforts. Manage social media platforms and marketing campaigns to enhance visibility and engagement within the community. Collect and analyze data related to outreach activities to measure effectiveness and inform future planning. Oversee fundraising efforts by identifying opportunities, cultivating donors, and managing grant applications when applicable. Provide administrative support for outreach projects, including scheduling, reporting, and documentation. Experience Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams within community-based settings. Strong background in public speaking, program development, project management, and marketing strategies. Experience in data collection and analysis related to community programs or health initiatives. Proficiency in social media management tools and digital marketing platforms. Knowledge of addiction counseling, public health principles, or social work is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to recruit, motivate, and manage diverse teams of volunteers or staff. Prior experience in fundraising activities or grant writing is advantageous. Administrative experience including scheduling, reporting, and recordkeeping is preferred. Teaching or training experience can be beneficial for educational outreach components.
