  • The Residential House Manager directly supervises and is accountable for male residents while on duty.
  • The Live-in House Manager will provide residents a safe, clean, attractive physical environment while following the living unit routine.
  • This position will also show competence in supervising residents on off-ground trips and planning and supervising age-appropriate recreational activities for residents.
  • Develop positive working relationships with staff and understand the concept of teamwork.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to work collaboratively with other departments throughout the agency to help residents attain goals as defined in their treatment plans. Assist residents with developing daily living skills by identifying and meeting social, environmental, and health care needs.
  • Transport clients to the office for counseling services, doctor/medical appointments, and other community events.
  • Ensure that residents adhere to daily schedules and activities established for the program, including school, therapy sessions, external appointments, etc.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in residential social activities.
  • Ensure that residents comply with required activities surrounding personal hygiene and grooming, upkeep of living areas, laundry, etc.
  • Ensure resident safety and collaborate with coworkers to maintain an environment that is positive, respectful, clean, and therapeutic.
  • Perform First Aid/CPR procedures and respond according to established protocols in the event of an emergency.
  • Perform crisis intervention, emergency counseling, and assistance; notify supervisor or an on-call person of clinical crisis and other emergencies per 4 2 Restore LLC policy.
  • Communicate and document activities and behaviors of residents in reports and records as assigned.
  • Inspect housing units periodically and report repairs and maintenance, as necessary.
  • Assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) - Prepare meals for residents, accompany residents to doctor appointments, etc.
  • Monitor and document medication compliance and report changes in symptoms, side effects, or under medication to the supervisor.
  • Complete client-related assessments, notes, and reports
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • AA (preferably in Human Services) w/2-year direct care experience or BA (preferably in Psychology or Human Services).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving & organizational skills.
  • A valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • The ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Education
