WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Resident Managers manage all day-to-day operations of assigned community section and are responsible for meeting all associated goals. They ensure the section and team members remain in compliance with SMC policies, procedures, and standards as well as local and federal government regulations and guidelines.WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
Manage all day-to-day operations of assigned section Ensure Southern Management policies, procedures, and internal quality control standards are upheld at all times Encourage and build positive relationships with team members, customers, and vendors Provide high levels of service to all customers and team members Hire, train, coach, counsel and manage assigned team members Perform all Credit Counselor duties Aid in preparation of annual budget and community plans Respond in emergency situations, as needed Ensure all resident accounts are accurate and current Conduct new resident move-in orientations Serve as the primary contact for all customers, team members, and vendors associated with assigned section Stay abreast of industry trends Demonstrate behaviors that cultivate a positive work culture Contribute to community/company engagement efforts Perform other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisorJOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding interpersonal skills Exceptional customer service skills Ability to effectively lead, coach, and motivate High-level critical thinking skills Knowledge of current applicable laws Strong organizational skills Adaptability and flexibility in fast paced environments Ability to keep neat and accurate records Aptitude with Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with Yardi software products a plusRequirements:
Graduation from The Southern Difference Institute or equivalent combination of education and property management experience Three years of experience in a property management setting Experience in customer service, sales, marketing, or real estateReq Benefits:
