Property Manager (Community Manager)

Maryland Management is seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead operations, drive property performance, and deliver a high quality resident experience. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in multifamily property management who are ready to take ownership of a community and lead a team. Key Responsibilities Lead all property operations including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident services Drive occupancy, leasing performance, and resident retention Oversee rent collections and support overall property financial performance Supervise and develop onsite staff to achieve operational goals Resolve resident concerns with professionalism and urgency Maintain property standards, curb appeal, and unit readiness Execute leasing and marketing strategies to maximize performance Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies Qualifications Three to five years of experience in property management or multifamily housing Proven experience managing operations and leading teams Strong understanding of leasing performance and resident retention Strong communication and problem solving skills Compensation and Benefits $30 to $38 per hour, plus commission and bonus opportunities 100 percent company-paid health care premiums for employees Up to 80 percent company-paid coverage for family members (spouse/domestic partner and dependents) Generous rent discount at Maryland Management communities 401(k) with company match; Maryland Management contributes 25% of what you withhold, up to 6% of your annual income Company paid short term and long term disability Paid parental leave Dental and vision insurance options Paid time off and holidays Fun company culture - annual awards, team events and celebrations that bring the whole company together About Maryland Management Founded in 1949, Maryland Management owns and operates more than 45 apartment communities with over 10,000 homes across Maryland and Florida.
