Description:
Do you have a passion for helping others succeed? Northeast Technical Institute, located in Lewiston, Maine, has an opening for a Part Time Outreach Coordinator. In your role, you will need highly developed customer service and sales skills. The ability to connect and relate with our students and the community is essential. The Outreach Coordinator will have a blended role of Student Services and Community Outreach at 28 hours weekly.
Requirements:
1. Providing a welcoming environment for new and enrolled students and maintains effective communication with newly enrolled and prospective students. 2. Contributing to and/or conducting program orientations, resume workshops and exit interviews. 3. Monitoring student academic progress / performance, behavior, attendance and facilitates appropriate interventions. 4. Participating on teams to identify barriers to success in retention and graduation rates. 5. Consistent and effective follow-up with students and maintaining extensive database notes on prospective students. 6. Working closely with Admissions to create and implement integrated marketing and recruitment strategies for each academic program. 8. Assisting with developing and maintaining a calendar for recruitment activities including open houses, information sessions, etc. that enhance and support relationship-building efforts and visibility of NTI. 9. Ensuring compliance of all admission forms. 10. Commitment to the success of the students and the company. Education and Certification 1. 2 plus years proven sales, telemarketing, or customer service experience. 2. Experience in Higher Education in Student or Career Services a plus. 3. High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors Degree preferred. ?4. 1-2 years of higher education student interaction. 5. 2-4 years of upper level administrative assistance.
