May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a thorough understanding of property management practices, including knowledge of LIHTC regulations and proficiency in property management software such as OneSite. This role requires excellent customer relationship management abilities, conflict management skills, and the capacity to negotiate effectively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of residential properties, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Oversee tenant relations, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts in a timely manner to maintain high levels of tenant satisfaction. Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders using CMMS systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Maintain accurate files and records for all properties, including lease agreements, tenant communications, and maintenance logs. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and property conditions. Prepare budgets and financial reports while monitoring expenses to ensure adherence to financial goals. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms for property maintenance and improvements. Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants while maintaining occupancy rates. Requirements Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role in the real estate industry. Strong administrative skills with proficiency in property management software (OneSite) preferred. Knowledge of LIHTC regulations is highly desirable. Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Familiarity with relevant laws governing property management practices. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
