May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

This energetic position offers the opportunity to manage leasing activities, coordinate property maintenance, and ensure exceptional customer service for residents. You will work closely with team members to uphold property standards, enforce lease agreements, and foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors alike. Responsibilities Assist in leasing activities by showing apartments, processing applications, and preparing lease or rental agreements using property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite. Manage tenant communications, resolve conflicts, and handle inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring excellent customer service. Support property maintenance coordination by scheduling repairs, conducting inspections, and maintaining records using CMMS and other facilities management systems. Uphold legal compliance by understanding landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Section 8 guidelines to ensure all leasing practices are compliant. Assist in budgeting processes by tracking expenses, managing rent collections, and supporting financial reporting tasks. Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and recordkeeping for lease agreements, tenant files, contracts, and incident reports. Collaborate with team members on property marketing efforts including upselling available units and promoting community amenities to prospective tenants. Skills Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and client relationship management tools. Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC compliance, Section 8 programs, and contracts management. Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities. Demonstrated experience in property leasing, sales techniques, and upselling strategies to maximize occupancy rates. Solid administrative skills including data entry, filing, recordkeeping, and office experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in facilities management or property maintenance coordination is a plus; familiarity with CMMS systems is advantageous. Strong team management capabilities coupled with excellent communication skills to foster positive client relationships and support team collaboration.
