A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Introduction Properti Home Concierge is a home service provider for second homes (not rentals) in Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana. New Buffalo, Lakeside, St. Joseph, Stevensville, Benton Harbor, Sawyer Job Description Specific Responsibilities Perform home watch visits as scheduled looking for obvious issues in the home and around the property. Schedule and meet vendors onsite. Juggle multiple appointments daily and weekly Be agile as changes to schedule are warranted. Oversee vendor services and ensure completion and accuracy. Relay task or project related items with important and appropriate detail to vendors and to Clients. Communicate regularly in writing, phone calls, and texts to Clients and vendors. Book appointments and reservations. Coordinate multiple requests simultaneously. Create plans that use time and resources efficiently. Think proactively about the needs of the entire household. Make recommendations for the home and Client based on historical knowledge. Exercise confidentiality with all Client information. Genuinely care for Clients and their family. Show a sense of urgency when a home is open to risk. Make purchases and turn in receipts (company card provided). Coordinate small home projects, change a lightbulb, receive or deliver packages, grocery shop and put away, measure items, take out waste bins, turn off water sources, understand which a licensed professional (plumbing, hvac, electrical) is needed, perform light organization tasks, and other as requested by clients and/or management. Qualifications and Requirements Follow detailed, multi-step directions Commit to quality Communicate well in writing and verbally Attention to quality and service Problem solving skills Can-do attitude Punctual with reliable transportation and proof of insurance Use email and smart phone apps Familiar with simple home maintenance tasks Works well autonomously when needed and is self-motivated Multi-task and handle a fast pace Comfortable around family pets and be in a household environment. Cannot be afraid to get dirty. High School or GED Speak fluent English Lift up to 30 lbs, adequate vision and hearing Able to stand and walk unassisted Most needs are daily from 8-5. Weekend availability a plus but not typical. Please note this position has great flexibility and is a part-time opportunity that can grow to full time. There is no guarantee of hours. Compensation will be discussed with qualified individuals.
