Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in property management, resident services, and affordable housing compliance who enjoys working directly with residents while ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing resident files, certifications, and day-to-day administrative responsibilities within a busy property management environment. Compensation $28.00 - $40.00/hr DOQ with Affordable Housing experience Key Responsibilities Assist with annual and interim resident recertifications Maintain accurate resident files and compliance documentation Support affordable housing programs, including HUD, Section 8, and Tax Credit (LIHTC) requirements Meet with residents to collect and review income and eligibility documentation Respond to resident inquiries and provide excellent customer service Collaborate with onsite management and leasing teams Ensure resident records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready Assist with occupancy, reporting, and administrative functions as needed Support overall property operations and resident satisfaction initiatives Qualifications Required 2+ years of property management, occupancy, or affordable housing experience Knowledge of affordable housing regulations and recertification processes Experience working with HUD, Section 8, Tax Credit (LIHTC), or other subsidized housing programs Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Preferred Experience with Yardi or similar property management software Previous experience as an Assistant Property Manager, Occupancy Specialist, Compliance Specialist, or Affordable Housing Coordinator Experience conducting annual resident recertifications What We're Looking For We're seeking a professional who can confidently navigate affordable housing compliance requirements while providing excellent support to residents and property management teams.
