Live On-Site Caretaker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Live On-Site Female Caretaker to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our Women's Transitional Retreat property. This vital role ensures a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for residents and visitors alike. The Caretaker will serve as the primary on-site presence, managing property upkeep, addressing resident needs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the heartbeat of a vibrant community, fostering positive relationships and maintaining the property's integrity. Responsibilities Provide on-site supervision and ensure the safety and security of the property at all times. Perform routine property inspections, including common areas, grounds, and building systems, to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, working with vendors or internal teams to ensure timely completion. Assist residents with leasing inquiries, move-ins, move-outs, and ongoing customer service needs. Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records using property management software like Yardi or OneSite. Enforce lease agreements, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 guidelines while handling landlord-tenant issues with professionalism and sensitivity. Conduct conflict management and resolution to foster a harmonious community environment. Support facilities management by overseeing property maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance with legal standards including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations. Handle phone inquiries with excellent etiquette, upselling available units or services when appropriate. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and property condition updates for transparency and accountability. Qualifications Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person. Demonstrated conflict management skills with a tactful approach to resolving disputes. Ability to perform physical tasks related to facilities management including light maintenance checks or groundskeeping activities. Office experience combined with data entry proficiency for maintaining accurate records and reports. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in filing and record keeping.
