Job Description

New Challenges Inc. is currently hiring a full-time Assisted Living Manager at a small Assisted Living location in the south twin cities metro. NCI provides services for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness & traumatic brain injuries in residential settings. This position will be scheduled for weekdays 10a-6p and additional shifts as needed. Program Manager will include, but are not limited to; Direct care/personal care assistance Location scheduling coordination Finance management for persons served Management of the monthly location budget Report writing Team meetings Handling emergency situations Staff training and supervision Documents required per licensing rules and regulations File audits Qualifications needed include a 2 year degree in the Human Services field & 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or mental illness or 4 years of full time experience providing services with individuals with disabilities and/or mental illness. Previous supervisory experience of at least one year is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to problem solve, work well on a team & multi-task are also required.
