Job Description

Summary of Position:
The primary purpose of the Regional Manager is to assist D.W. Jones Management, Inc. in carrying out the philosophies, goals, policies, and procedures of applicable regulations and other written direction of D.W. Jones Management, Inc. The Regional Manager provides management, direction, and leadership to ensure the properties are maintained and operated in accordance with company policies.
The property types include:
Tax Credit, Rural Development, Section 8 and Market Rate. This position requires regular office hours to be maintained along with availability for emergency situations outside of regular office hours. Please note, the following is a brief overview and not an all-inclusive list of the requirements of this position: - Regional Management Oversee routine and preventative maintenance of buildings and grounds. Address emergency issues in a timely manner. Comply with Fair Housing requirements. - Caretaker and Maintenance Management Supervise, support and effectively communicate with on-site staff. Coordinate caretaker duties, including re-certifications, filling vacancies, and unit turnovers. - Resident Relations Maintain a safe and friendly environment for our residents. Address resident issues, concerns, and complaints in a timely and effective manner, while maintaining confidentiality. Enforce lease terms, including filing eviction proceedings.
