Service Manager - Residential Plumbing

R&R Plumbing is a growing residential plumbing company based in Harrisonville, MO. We are scaling our service division and need an experienced Service Manager to help lead it. This is a management and sales role. You will run the service division day-to-day, lead our service technicians, and go ahead of the crew to help assess jobs and close work before we dispatch. In true emergencies you may run a call yourself. We want someone who still can — but does not need to. We are looking for someone who has managed a residential plumbing service department before, knows what good looks like, and is ready to bring that experience into a company that is built to grow. Responsibilities Own daily service division operations — scheduling, dispatch, and team accountability Go ahead of technicians on new or larger jobs to diagnose, present options, and close the work Handle true emergency calls when no technician is available Hold pricing discipline Track weekly KPIs — revenue per tech per day, gross margin, callback rate, and customer satisfaction Work with our CSR and dispatcher to ensure every call is booked and handled with urgency Help build and improve our service systems, price book, and standards Represent R&R Plumbing professionally on every customer interaction Qualifications Prior experience managing a residential plumbing service department required Strong customer-facing skills — comfortable diagnosing in front of homeowners and closing jobs Experience leading and holding field technicians accountable Working knowledge of service operations Detail-oriented on job documentation — photos, notes, and invoicing before leaving the site Missouri plumbing license preferred - Not Required Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Compensation $80,000 base salary Monthly/Quarterly bonus opportunities This Role Is Not For Everyone If you want to run calls all day and go home, this is not the right fit.
