Property Management Assistant Job Summary Join a dynamic property management team as a Property Management Assistant, where your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help streamline daily operations and enhance tenant satisfaction. In this role, you will support property managers by handling administrative tasks, coordinating leasing activities, managing client communications, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations. Your proactive approach will contribute to maintaining high standards of property upkeep, tenant relations, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Assist with lease or rental agreement management, including drafting, reviewing, and renewing documents using property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite Support property maintenance coordination by communicating with vendors and tenants to schedule repairs and inspections Manage client communication through phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism and courtesy Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record-keeping for all property-related documents, including contracts and compliance reports Help oversee property leasing activities, including screening applicants for Section 8 housing programs and other subsidized housing options Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses, preparing reports, and assisting with financial documentation related to property operations Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant law, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other legal requirements Experience Proven experience in real estate administrative roles or property management companies Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or comparable tools Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, and LIHTC compliance Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management effectively Experience in lease or rental agreement management and contracts negotiation Office experience involving data entry, filing systems (including CMMS), and general administrative support Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop expertise in property management operations. Pay:
