Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Regional Property Manager to lead and oversee multiple residential properties within a designated region. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and profitability of our property portfolio. As a Regional Property Manager, you will be the driving force behind exceptional tenant relations, team leadership, and compliance with all relevant regulations. Your energetic approach and proactive management will foster vibrant communities while maximizing property performance and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of multiple properties, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements such as Fair Housing laws and LIHTC guidelines. Lead, motivate, and manage property management teams across various locations, promoting teamwork and professional development. Develop and implement strategic plans for leasing, marketing, and tenant retention to maximize occupancy rates. Manage budgets, financial reporting, rent collections, and expense control to ensure profitable property operations. Ensure compliance with legal administrative procedures, lease or rental agreement management, and landlord-tenant law. Utilize property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS to streamline data entry, reporting, and maintenance tracking. Handle client communication with tenants, landlords, vendors, and stakeholders with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Conduct regular property inspections focusing on maintenance needs, facilities management, and safety protocols. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure quality services at competitive prices. Address conflict management issues promptly to maintain positive community environments. Oversee property leasing activities including upselling units to prospective tenants while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Coordinate property maintenance requests efficiently using property management systems; oversee facilities management activities. Skills Extensive experience with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC compliance, Section 8 programs, and contracts management. Proven ability in team management with excellent leadership skills; capable of motivating diverse teams across multiple locations. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client communication and conflict resolution. Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, rent collection processes, and upselling strategies for lease or rental agreements. Familiarity with real estate administrative processes including data entry, filing systems, legal documentation, and office procedures. Ability to manage property maintenance schedules efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met. Skilled in negotiation tactics for vendor contracts and lease agreements; adept at conflict management scenarios. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting tasks using property management tools like Yardi or OneSite.
