Job Description

We're seeking a motivated Assistant Property Manager to support daily property operations and help deliver an excellent resident experience. Responsibilities include assisting with leasing, rent collection, resident relations, maintenance coordination, financial reporting, lease administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and housing regulations. This role also supports staff training, handles delinquent accounts and evictions, conducts property inspections, and assumes management duties in the Property Manager's absence. Responsibilities Assist with daily property operations, resident satisfaction, and retention Manage accounts receivable, rent collection, deposits, and rent rolls Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports Process move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and lease audits Handle delinquent accounts, evictions, notices, and court appearances Lease apartments and conduct competitive market surveys Inspect property grounds and coordinate maintenance needs Support resident relations and resolve concerns professionally Assist with staff training and office operations Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations Qualifications High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred 2-3 years of property management experience required Knowledge of the resident leasing lifecycle required Real estate license preferred (may be required in some locations) Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property management software preferred Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills Ability to manage confidential information and work independently Comfortable handling difficult situations professionally Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required
Yardi Experience Preferred Pay:
From $25.00 per hour
