Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of property management practices, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to tenants and owners. This role requires a proactive approach to managing properties, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and maintaining positive relationships with residents. Duties Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing vacancies, conducting property tours, and processing applications. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and maintain accurate records related to tenant interactions and property management activities. Oversee the maintenance and repair of properties, coordinating with vendors and contractors as necessary. Handle tenant inquiries, resolve conflicts, and address any issues that arise in a timely manner. Maintain organized files for all contracts, leases, and property-related documents using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite. Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they are well-maintained and meet safety standards. Prepare reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and tenant satisfaction for management review. Skills Strong knowledge of real estate administrative practices and property management principles. Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements. Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. Experience with property leasing processes and contract management. Excellent conflict management skills to effectively address tenant concerns and disputes. Proficiency in property management software such as Appfolio is very important.
