Job Description

Ideal Landscaping & Irrigation is currently hiring a Property Manager (Landcare Division) . Join a growing team that values leadership, accountability, and quality. As a Property Manager (Landcare Division) , you will lead multiple landscape maintenance crews, ensuring safety, quality service, and efficient operations across all assigned properties. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Property Managers report directly to the Landcare Director of Operations and play a critical role in delivering high-quality landscape services while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee multiple landscape maintenance crews on a daily basis Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations Conduct regular site inspections to verify performance and service quality Develop and manage production schedules (daily to 30 days out) Monitor labor hours, attendance, and overtime to stay within budget Maintain a Safety First, Quality Second culture across all teams Train and develop crew members in safety, equipment use, and horticultural practices Ensure crews have the tools, materials, and direction needed to succeed Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients and assist with issue resolution Support hiring efforts, including interviewing and onboarding new team members Maintain accurate schedules, timesheets, and daily communication (calls, texts, emails) Assist with client renewals, service adjustments, and accounts receivable as needed Qualifications (Required): Previous experience in landscape maintenance (3+ years preferred) Prior leadership or crew management experience Strong knowledge of landscaping practices (mowing, pruning, plant care, etc.) Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities at once Valid, unrestricted North Carolina driver's license (or equivalent) Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Preferred (Not Required): Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience with production planning or route management Experience in customer-facing roles or client communication
